Library Services

 

The Sol Plaatje Library Service is an active free service, easily accessible and easy for people to visit.  The service consists of seven libraries and the Africana research library.
A depot service is rendered at schools and old age homes.
We offer:

*    a living room for the community
*    a highway to culture and the information universe
*    information on cultural events, ward committees, local government, businesses and health.

We create a learning environment supporting learners of all ages.
Our INFORMATION SERVICE consists of:

* Comprehensive reference service

* Study collection from Unisa 
* Research via internet
* An indexed non-fiction collection(covering all possible topics
* Travel guides  
* Car manuals
